The stock unit had the radio and tape player and a separate cd player. i connected the harness to the speaker wires that where connected to the radio/tape part. the wires that were conected to the cd player are cuurently connected to nothing. Could this be causing this?

Hi Im new here I just installed a new headunit. I have a 2000 v6 with basic sound system. I bought a Sony headunit and conected it using the adapter harness. I also have it conected to a 4 channel amp with a subwoofer and two speakers. My problem is that when I play CDs the sound only comes out...
