i don't have enough for 2 18's either, I may have to go with 12's... Decisions decisions. I'm pretty sure 2.6 per 15 wouldnt work right for me because I like lots of low end. Good luck with your build, that's gonna be nasty

I have a ford ranger and trying to figure out what'd be the easiest and cheapest way to get 2 6.5's per door. I think the easiest may be to buy the qlogic kick panels but I would prefer to have both speakers in the door with the grills showing.

It's L shape port, and also I noticed little trucks like my ranger are hard to get loud. A swap of the same setup to my friends SUV or even a trunk car sounds Soo much better. Working up a new box though

The only thing I don't get it why my sa played everything well, and that box was 34hz. So either 32hz is really THAT different, or sa's are better than z's in that area somehow.

So getting a similiar box with low 30's tuning but less port area and I'm good? Like I said it murders my truck on decaf tracks around 28-32 hz but then songs my sa12 use to pound on the zv3's literally sound like a faint tap where it should drop.

Yeah it kills the lows for sure haha, I was hoping to have a nice blend though. I'll try some things

So 81 sq in of port area is way too much for me then and a new box will solve my issue? Or is this common with z series like the other guy said?
