    I have it grounded to a completely sanded down seat belt buckle bolt. Not a good spot? If not, I read about drilling holes into the car to get to the frame but how do you attach it to the frame?     Ok so I went to the local Audio Express so they can check out the system. It was 73 dollars. They tested the amp and says it works but I still have assumptions it might be dead. They also tested the speaker and said it was fine. So then they check out the wiring, everything went to the right...

    Yeah I did check the voltage. Never dropped, the amp goes into protect while still getting a solid 12.

    If it was an over-heating issue then why is it when I have the car sitting for 3 hours and go to turn it on and it still goes into protect right away? It randomly chooses when it wants to work.

    Oh and the "so many times" claim is also incorrect. I've had this amp in the car for 2 days. It's only actually worked for maybe an hour out of those two days.
