looks like a good amp. I'm trying to give my 2 jl12w1's enough power. I was told that I shouldn't overpower them so I'm trying to stay at 500w rms to give them 250w rms a piece. I would think 300w each might be pushing them too hard :/ how much do you want for it? any problems with it?

Need an amp that will do 500w rms @ 4 ohms true power. No overheating amps please.

Got the subs and amp hooked up today at a shop. These JL's sound awsome. Bass is real precise, strong.

that place is under investigation by the BBB. Heard a lot of bad stuff about them.

Just making sure I did it right its my first time installing a system. Just keep getting confused with words like parallel and series :P. yeah they are two svc 8 ohm JL12w1v2's hooked up to a visonik 2 channel amp. Hopefully I can get them going by friday.

I just wired up my two 8 ohm subwoofers in enclosure by wiring both the subs together as in + to + and - to - on the subs hooked them into the terminals and then from the terminals hooked the + wire to + on amp and - to - on amp. Reason I did this is because amp is a 4 ohm amp I was told this...

It's not easy at all. Lucky for me my dad knows how to do it better than a shop so I just have to buy the tint He did a full tint job on my old pontiac about 4 years ago now and that stuff still looks like the day he first did it.

OK guys, I just bought a set of JL 12"w1's already in a box not ported for $100 dollars . I have already ordered an 800w 2 channel amp that does 150w rms per channel. My question is. What do I need to get this all hooked together? I am getting a shop to do the install because honestly I don't...
