I think your misunderstanding my question. I had a design and that was it. the max volume of the not counting the port was about 1.5 cubes. I need to calculate the space the port takes up. my goal was to stay near 1.25 cubes. go piss in someone elses cheerios. On a side note thank you for...

hmmm ok. How bad is this design?? due to the placement in my truck this was an ideal setup. I am reworking it right now though to the way I think your saying. I will post that in a few min.

I am going to be building a box that has the sub facing the *** part of my rear seat. How much clearance do I need to ensure the sub isn't nailing the seat when I crank the volume?? pushing 1000rms to it if it makes a difference.

I am sure it will cut wood just fine. Problem I see is on larger cuts and larger pieces of wood. It will get tricky. But hey it's better than nothing.
