might found my problem, may have a bad rca cable. need to get a new one and try it out. 1 side plug in have voltage, swap out the other side no voltage. strange.

thanks. didn't know that birch ply is lighter than mdf. and in fact the birch ply does have a sexier look than the mdf. my car is already heavy as hell with a underpowered engine and my mdf box even though still not in the car yet but it's a workout just to move it in my living room to test fit...

those adaptors won't work in many amp that accept 4 gauge input. bought 1 and doesn't fit into any 2 of my cadence amp nor my friend's sony amp.

the port withd i got here one is 12.5" height 2" wide, another is 12.5" height and 3" wide.

that 2-2.5 cubes is before or after driver displacement? wouldn't the 2-2.5 a little bit too big for a sealed box? or it's suitable for a type x before of the power handling the type x have? thanks.
