Yeah they are, what would be a better-suited amp to power these 2 subs? If i can't fix this problem, i'll just buy a new amp

I have an Audiobahn A8000V and 2 MTX T7510-04s wired in parellel. My wiring kit is 4 gauge, and my speaker wires from the amp to the subs are 16 gauge. It overheats after like 2 songs and goes into protection mode. Anyone got an idea where I should start looking to solve this problem?

A friend of mine is constantly praising Quantum subs and saying they are awesome and all this stuff. Can someoen tell me a little bit about these things, and if they're good and worth the money?
