    head unit or Amp crossover

ok thanks so outside of the fact the amp is continuisly variable it doesn't really matter which one I use? thought there might be a quality issue with one being a better choice than the other.

    head unit or Amp crossover

I was wondering do most folks set their head unit to no crossovers or anything like that on it to off then strictly use the amp crossovers? Seems like you could go either way, set amp to full range and use head unit or the opposite. I haven't tested which one sounds better yet just wondering...

6 channel amp with only 4 RCA outputs from the head unit

cool thanks I didn't know it works that way I'll try it out!

6 channel amp with only 4 RCA outputs from the head unit

Yeah you can but I was hoping to separate the front 2 speakers from the 4 rear. This is on a boat and the 2 bow speakers can sometimes be annoying to the people sitting up there when things are louder. so with this y adapter plan i think the fader will work properly?

Thanks sounds like I'm good then I'll use what I got and split at head unit instead of buying more crap. Jason

6 channel amp with only 4 RCA outputs from the head unit

Or will that lose to much signal strength and it's better to split right before plugging into the amp?

6 channel amp with only 4 RCA outputs from the head unit

perfect that's what I was hoping to hear. Funny part is I have the stuff to do it the opposite way by using the splitter at the head unit. 1m to 2f then running a total of 6 RCAs. Guess that's kind of backwards but sounds like the same thing.

6 channel amp with only 4 RCA outputs from the head unit

Howdy, what's the best way to get this hooked up? My head unit has front L&R and rear L&R RCA outputs and the amp has 6 RCA inputs. This is for 6 regular speakers no subs involved. Thanks, Jason

    XM Radio

I'm using the Roady XT and have it plugged in to a cig lighter that I added from the fuse panel and hid back up behind the fuse panel under the dash. Not sure if that's the same thing as using the hardwire device from the XM store but sounds like it's not working the same way.

    XM Radio

I just installed an XM radio on a 2008 Jetta using the Aux input jack in the glovebox. The thing is making this awful buzzing noise or should I call it a steady hight pitched tone whenever it's on. It's not that loud but loud enoug to hear and annoy me. The owners manual says don't use 12v...
