i have an box 5.1 cub ft tuned to 38 with two bx1500 w hifonics amps an hit an 148 in a reg cab truck i had an box b4 this one 5 cb ft tuned to 35 an hit an 145.9

alright i cant do those formulas to figure out the tune call me stupid or whatever but i no my box size an sq ft my box is 15" deep 14" tall an 53" wide an its 5.029 cb ft internal usind 3/4 mdf but what i cant figure out is what size depth wide an tall my port should be to tune it to 40 if any...

oh an another thing i was jw about for some reason if i have one window up an one down it hits hard like an 143 for example but with both down its crapppy liek an 135 or so with both windows down my 2 ed o 12's hit harder i was jw its no biggie

the mic had a metal cage around it the mic was squarish i no it was a remlab but dunno which one an they put it by my passenger kickpanel. my box is made of 5/8" particle board... i dont have anything supporting the port except screws and liquid nails.and no the baffle is not 1.5 inches only...

the system is in an 94 toyota regcab with a cut through an the mike was an termlab but i dunno if it was the net one i think it was an termlab pro maybe i dunno but i really think my system should be louder an the thing with the tuning everyone on this forum said 35 would be a preatty good...

what time or day did u call? u have to remember they are in nevada so they might have a differnt time zone then you...

the solos do give dang good spl but thats about all but i havent had much reliablity with the 04 models i went through 3 of them in 3-4 months with only an 1400w mmatts amp running the pair after the finally one fuked up i sold my whole system an gave re an try an omg am i glad i did

if it were me i would face it according to the website..and also if your gonna daily drive it i would get any decent 1000-1200w rms amp such as hifonics tsunami or jbl an just run the positive from each vc an connect them an do the same with the neg an connect them an it will bring the ohms to...

ok i ordered my 2 12" sx's a few day ago an im yet to order my amps an im wondering would 2 tsunami 1100's be that much louder than 1 tsunami db1800 i would rather get the 1800 being that it would be about 100 bux cheaper but if the extra 400 w would really make it alot louder i will go for them...

alright this guy i met yesterday had the two 15s the were in a sealed box dunno how big but he was also running an 1200 crossfire amp but he said his amp requires two grounds an two pos... i have never heard of this b4 an i wouldnt no y u would need this an i dunno if hes just stupid or what...

i was also wondering if 1500w rms is to much it would help me decied on which amp to get

i had two in a 1.2 selaed box each an i gave them both 650 rms an they handled it ok but i wouldnt recomend giving them much over that
