yea i know...but i want to keep the gains down because my amp is a little too powerful for my sub

my amps input voltage goes from 150mv-8v....my hu has 4v preouts....if i wanted to keep the gain all the way down, would i set it to 150mv or 8v? thx

Ok, I checked out my local Radio Shack and Auto Parts store - I can only find 30 or 40 amp relays. I have a Pioneer 8400 - would there be a problem in using a 30 amp one with this HU? Or does anyone know of a website that sells 10 amp relays? Thanks a lot

So I should hook it up like..... + from one sub to one of the plugs terminals, - from that sub to the + on the other sub, and - from that sub to the plugs other terminal?

I've got four Radio Shack subs I bought at a garage sale for 10 bucks....is there any danger in hooking on all 4 up to the same plug to blow all of them at once? Or should i go one at a time?

What happens if I take the wires from my sub, wire them to a wall outlet plug and plug it in? Will it blow? Explode? Start a huge ass fire?
