Okay so i installed my kicker l7 and kenwood amp in my mercedes c230 2002. It was going good for a min but isnt stable at all. At one ohm it sounds the best but cuts out completely for periods of time and the sound level changes on its own, and at 4 ohms it sounds okay and doesnt cut out but...

alright so i hooked it up and it sounds great. BUT... it cuts out, is that the 1ohm stable (or unstable).. ? or is it the fact that im using the factory deck? Im hoping i can just rewire the sub because i love the stock bose system.

cool thanks for the help. Im guessing the 4 ohm would be best at 500watts, since running it at 1 would most likely over power it, or am i wrong? Would it sound like shit if it were underpowered like that?
