I had a question about some subs. There is a guy I know that has 2 Diamond Audio D615D4 subs for sale for $400 (pair). Just the subs nothing else. Is this a deal worth getting? They are in great conetion. Like new. Also he was running them at 4ohms only 780 watts when the subs are 750 RMS each.

I dont know man. I need to figure it out. I keep getting different numbers. What else is needed? Down the center of the box splitting the subs is a piece of 1/2 mdf. It is made from 3/4. Minus the ports and all.

When using more then one port, how do you calculate port dia and length? Ex 2 4" ports would that be the same as an 8" port. Also for length if it needs to be 20" does each one need to be 10"?

What if I put another 4" port on each side? Also the subs are sealed off from each other. If adding another 4" port will work, how long should they be?

What size port would you recommend for that box? It is 16" tall. I think it is clipping but it maybe something else. It sounds like clipping though.

Ok what if I got 2 15s and made the port bigger? If that will work what 15s would be good on a budget?
