How does the Kicker 18inch subwoofer compare to the XXX or some of the other subs listed here ?

right.... ported and tuned preferably to 28hz... i also need to know what to set the subsonic filter at and i still am not sure how big my enclosure should be or the port dimensions... i'm a little lost, all i want are 2 tempests, but i don't know where to get started

yea that's perfect... the kenwood is just what i need...

... act like an mp3 player... so basically you could import music into the HU somehow and it would store it in it's memory and you could play the songs it has stored.. if you know what i'm saying.

The tempest is a 750RMS DVC sub... i think it's 4 or 8ohms... so what would be the best amp for 2 of them? I don't want to go above 600watts... mabye a JBL 1200.1 or something else? Preferably with a built in subsonic filter..

ok... i'll take your advice.. lets say i make the box 9 cubes.... where should i put the slot port and what should the dimensions be to make it 28-30hz?

Well they would be built together... as one big box.... with a peice of wood in the middle seperating them... i read that if one blows than the other one could be damaged if they are both in one big box... if you understand what i mean... do you have any slot port dimensions that i could use?

Hey, i would really like to know what the size should be for the box for 2 tempests i'm going to be making. I have read that it needs to be pretty big, and it must be ported. I want it tuned to 28hz for some sick low end, and i have around 9 or 10 cubic feet to work with. Not to mention that i...
