Are you sure about playing videos from the USB thumb drive? My 3100 will not do that. It will play videos from my Zune, but the 3100 does not play video from a file. Be great if it did!

If you are using the headphone out on the MP3 player the signal is already analog & therefore the player WILL make a difference in SQ. If you use the line outs I am not sure if it is digital or just line level analog.

I just got my Zune 80 hooked up to the rear A/V inputs on a Pioneer AVH-P3100DVD & the video is causing hum in the audio. If I turn off the video from the Zune it is quiet. As soon as I enable the video from the Zune I get the hum. It's loud enough to be unacceptable. My A/V cable has a...
