    Powering JL Audio 13w7

    Been away from car audio for a few years....Recieved a JL Audio 13w7 as a gift and picked up a MTX Thunder 81000D for $ 150 to power it....Anyone have experience with these ? I may have fired blindly, but with specs suggesting 1000watt @ 2ohm I figured it was a safe, small investment ??
