I am betting they had them in a transmission line box. Very Large huge wrapping around vents. I was trying to sell my dual vt (which is a transmission line box) no one wanted it but i sold it locally. There is a dual 12" vt just like my old one on ebay. here is the link...
that sucks i had a dealer account open with them. only bought 4 speakers. They were ahead of there time. Prices were high compared to all the other inferior speakers out. I remember the first time i saw there nuclear series it had 3 time the motor structure of any other speaker.
Just to give you a heads up JL audio is about to introduce the ZR some time here soon.
I would also check out the Koda 6 component set and/or check out the XXX 6.5 component coming out soon as well. DIY is a cost effective way to build some really nice setups.
Quick question: Do not know what kind of specifics i would have to provide, but i guess I will ask. 4v output from HU, would that be high enough to avoid clipping? Please elaborate a little on clipping if you do not mind.

I got MRV 307 V12 i believe. Its a four channel 50X4 but it is bridged, probably getting 200X2 max. they seem to handle the power pretty well. They definately have alot of low end umph. They must think they are a pair of subs.
