I'm experiencing a "need to know" moment. Are you under 18? 19-24? 25-30? 31-40? 41-50? Older than dirt and still love loud music?

With no consideration to budget high or low what is the determining factor for decision making? Do you select subs and their amps first when building a system or mids and tweets. If it all has to be considered at the same time what is the rule of thumb determining the quantity of speakers?

I'm a self proclaimed noob at this so forgive me if this is a noob stupid question. If one or more sub/s produces the upper range of bass the way you like it but lacks low end and another sub produces the lower range of bass the way you like it, what's wrong with combining the two or more? If...

I'm more confused as to what to do now than I was previously. Too many saying "do this", others saying "don't do that or this will happen". Makes me want to go back to stock and **** it all. Are there any experts? And not self proclaimed experts. I need my truck running not melting.
