Hmm, is there a way to measure the voltage that the LOC provides to the amp then.

I am using a Line Output Converter and trying to figure out how to determine how much voltage the pre-outputs provide. I thought it would be as easy as using a multimeter, but that didn't work for me unless I was doing it wrong.

I been told several times that the L7 doesn't sound good in a small sealed enclosure, so unless I run across another sub that will do good in a small sealed ensclosure, I am going to go with the D6.

Yeah, I was leaning towards the D6 because I hear it does good in small sealed enclosure. But I have heard time and time again that the L7 puts out some bass. I am limited with space, so maybe I should go with the D6.

For a small sealed enclosure which sub would perform better, Diamond Audio's D6 or Kicker's L7? Both being a 10in Sub running off of 500 watts rms.

Add a little flux to the wick. Then place the wick on top of the solder you want to remove and place the iron on top of the wick and wait for the solder to melt and that should do it.

Go with the solder wick for this job. While you are soldering, remember that the bigger the glob the better job does not apply. Use only enough to adhere your teminal to the board, then clean up all your mess with a q-tip dipped in alcohol. Flux and resin are corrosive through time.

Which one would be the better amp to use for 2 10in MA AUDIO HK100XC subs: Diamond Audio's D61000.1, or a Lanzar Opti1000D? This is for SPL purposes.

How good are the Lanzar Optidrive series amps? I hear a lot of recomendations to get the amp. Just trying to figure out if they are just a low end amp that are a good bang for the buck or are they considered a really good amp and can deliver true power and some.

I plan on buying the HK1000D, with 2 MA1000XL subs. The amp is rated at 800 watts rms with 14.4v. Right now its the only setup I can find around my price range.

Trying to find out if MA Audio is a considered hi end or low end audio. I would like to know were they stand before I cough up the money for their stuff.

When using polly fill, do I just shove it in the box or do i need to adhere it to the walls of the enclosure?

Trying to get some suggestions on a good sub for a small sealed enclosure. I have two 10in memphis power reference subs and they don't sound so good in the enclosure they are in. Looking for a sub with a rms of at least 350 watts. Thanx!

Yeah, that amp is 1 ohm stable. I am running two Memphis Power reference 10in subs with it. The subs can't produce some of the low tones, but I think it might be the box that they are in. Probably the wrong size box for those subs. Well if you guys are saying that Autotek isn't so bad, I...
