I agree. I have a 300/4 that I'm replacing with the HD and I expect the HD to be a world of difference. I just refuse to believe that JL would make such fanfare about the amp and it be inferior to their previous line. I too have only read glowing reviews about this amp and I cant wait to put it...

Found out that I had Focal 165 KF's (the ones that blew), not K2P's. Just bought a pair of K2P's for the front and some Polk db6501's for the back. That along with my 13W6 and Kicker 750.1 should be a pretty nice little set of tin cans... Right?

Call me crazy, but I have a 13W6 on my Kicker 750.1. Why not look into a couple of JL W6 or W7's?

In taking my door apart today it was revealed that I had Focal 165 KF's, not K2P's, and one of them is indeed blown. I am ordering either K2P's or Utopia's today and having them put on my HD600/4 next week. I have also ordered a pair of polk components for the rear.
