Yes usually when you switch sources(radio,cd,tv) it will raise or lower the antennae,I'm surprised your remote wire has enough juice to power your antannae,I guess we learn something everyday.Yes you could switch the remote wire.

My car came with a $1500 option Bose system (it was the color and package I wanted)I ripped that shiat out the first week I had the car!Why would you want a Bose when you can get a ton better system aftermarket?

I'd say it's the best bang for the buck considering it'll play mp3's,dvd's,cd's and just about anything and if your looking to go 5.1 it's just simple plug and play add on:cool:
