Does anyone have any experience with the MIX feature on the CDA9855?

I own an Alpine CDA 9855 with a connected mini IPOD. Everything works great except the Playlist I created on the IPOD requires me to go thru the rigors of turning the MIX ALL each and everytime I stop the car and start again. I am ok as long as the radio is not interrupted (loss of power)...

Putting money aside, if you had to pick between the two, which one would you pick and why. I am particularly interested in the Display between the 2.

ok. For everyone. Would you rather have a CDA-8553 or CDA-8555?

Wow. That is amazing. Out in the sunlight all day in a boat and you can read the Blue text? The white text is great, but not the blue.

Once again, I caution everyone on the 9853 display. It is great at night, but on a bright sunny day, you cannot see the blue.

What does the 9855 have black and white biolite? I may have exagerated the 110 MPH. I do play around with it at 60 to 70, however.

Thanks for replying. Can you change the color on the text for the 9855? Or is it white all the time? Can you change the font as well?
