i set my gains with the sub level at 0 and the volume at 26 now when im playing music i have the sub level at 7 and volume at 23 since im raising the sub level i dont want to send a clipped signal to the sub but i havent heard any distortion in the sub yet is it easy to hear distortion in a sub?

there should be a ring shaped clamp on the negative terminal you can either loosen the screw on the ring clamp or just pull it off its probably one of the easiest things in the world im sure you'll fiqure it out

the kenwood x590 is a very good unit excellent SQ and quite a few features
