You should be able to hear the difference from the research I have done. Here are sample tones I have been told are what to listen for. I hear a vibration in the clipped tone. 1khz clean 1khz clipped

So essentially since I have more power with the 2 ohm load the sound will be louder regardless of adding two speakers? Is it as simple as looking at each channal as 1 load or one speaker. I just feel like since I can not fully power two speakers, wouldn't it be worse with 4 speakers...

my speakers can handle more than my Amp, is it still an issue to be so precise with setting the amp gains? Can I put in a 1kHz tone with the gain way down and base all the way up and increase the gain until I hear a slight distortion and then back off slightly?

The first configuration would have 2 speakers 4 ohms each - one speaker per channel. The second configuration would have 4 speakers 4 ohms each - a pair wired to be 2 ohms - one pair per channel. Would one config be louder using the same HU and AMP settings for each config.
