i was driving the other day and after about ten minutes the amp went into protect i've had the amp for over a year with no problems and the volume was lower than usual. i changed the fuses and it worked fine for about one minute then went back into protect any ideas?

i currently have stock 6x9's and haven't thought much about replacing them. but since i've decided to upgrade my speakers i've decided to think about it. I've heard that the subwoofers would drown out the sound they produce. I currently have 2 12" rockford p3's. is this true or would new 6x9's...
