I thought it needed an update, but if you have a 2013 model it works fine. Pandora control over bluetooth, and all bluetooth audio streaming works great. Took me a while to get everything to place nice...just a matter of turning things off and on but I finally got it!

Anyone using this combo? Does anyone know if the App Radio firmware update on Pioneer's site that supports the iPhone 5 is for this model head unit? The instructions say it is model specific, but the support link on the product info page of the 5500 takes me to that update....been on hold with...

Hmm, mine busted through the box and the post office had to put a lot of tape on it. Nothing in there to keep it from moving, luckily it had a decent amount of bubble wrap around it.

Just bought that head unit, should be here soon. It looks top notch and highly reviewed!
