ok with the 9v battery, what do you mean it should go out?

can anybody here tell me how to check the voice coil? I bought a 15 inch robot underground sub from somebody and it started smoking when I hooked it up parallel, but when I hook each voice coil up independently both plays fine but not loud. How do i check the resistance between the voice coils?

it would be better to run the amp at 4 Ohms instead of 1 Ohm if i do get the jl amp right?

would I have to upgrade anything if I do get the jl 1000/1? I have a 1 farad cap already.

I have the Memphis MCD500, for some reason the fuses keep blowing right after I change em.

ok, how about the hifonics brutus brz1200.1d, I can get one of those and a wire kit for under 200. Any reason why thats not a good amp?

ok, I also like the Hifonics amp also, but as of now I dont think any mono amp will be cheaper than the audiopipe
