I have a like new HiFonics HFi 2500.1 that I'm trying to get rid of fairly cheap.

Image Dynamics ID10 v.3 would work in that box and is better then kicker and polk.

I do like the Dcon subs but in my opinion everyone on this site is stuck on SSA, Sundown, AQ, DC, FI, etc..... They completely forget about some other name brand subs that maybe don't get crazy loud but are still great subs for the money. Aside from that I would look at getting a Boston Acoustic...

American Bass TNT 10s would get a little louder then the l5s and definitely will sound cleaner.

There are plenty of good subs out there in that power range Cerwin Vega Vmax, AQ SDC 2.5, RE SRX, etc....... Just look around and buy what you want.

Audioque HDC3 15 Aluminum VC with 1500RMS in the right box and with a amp that actually puts out 1500RMS you could easily hit 140+. Check the wiring from the amp to the subs if you had someone else install them they could have messed up the wiring. When I had my 4 12s they hooked 2 of them up wrong and it sounded alright on low volumes but when you turned it up it sounded terrible. Found out they wired the voice coils in...

SSA Icon would sound amazing with the power and would get plenty loud. Won't break any records or anything but should suffice your needs.

If you are going for SQ and want to subs that work great in small enclosures for around $300 I would go with Boston Acoustic G310 they are single 4 ohm subs.They cost right around $150 each are probably one of the best SQ subs you can get for the price.

I would save more money and buy a better sub for around $100-150. I have used the Lanzar max pro 12 and it was terrible said it was rated at 800 watts RMS I put two of them at 1 ohm on my old MB Quart Discus 1500.1 I didn't even have the amp more than half way up and the subs were bottoming out...

My last post for some reason must have been removed but check out SpeakerWorks it's where I got a few 15 sub surrounds for my home theater subs. They are cheap and nice.

I have a old no name 6.5 that I pulled out of a old home theater system about 3 years ago. I ran it in a custom box at 75 RMS and it hit hard. Haven't used it in about 1 year I can send you some pictures if you want. It doesn't look amazing but it sounds great.

I have 4 Memphis Power Reference 12s and they sound great and hit hard. Selling them cheap too.
