I have also tried to connect the REM to the power antenna from the car end but again nothing.

I thought it was that wire also so I connected the REM port to the 12v connection to see if that helped but again to no avail. I have the actual REM connected to the blue wire from the head unit and blue from the 4-Ch amp.
