This is correct as I have been told, the Alpine sub preout only makes 4volts at max hu volume and at max sub preout level. Check the front and rear outs, they should rate much better. Bill3508

I did not use ipersonalize. Just set the crossover values in your headunit by holding down menu button to get to the crossover setting. Bill3508
