    JBL BPX2200.1, anyone tested?

Whats the power output? Being that JBL is already following the strict CEA2006 codes, I seen it puts out, dynamically, 2900w. Anyone tested that theory yet? Bill

    Airspace req for Eclipse Ti's.. 10s, 12s, 15s

Looked all over the net.. not sure if the numbers I came up with will muster. 10" - 1.75cu/ft 12" - 2.5cu/ft 15" - 5cu/ft 15" will not be a TiPro. Bill

    Hifonics BX1500D Birthsheet

Friend with the Mazda3 benched his 1500D. Peaked 1528w using music, and 1542w with a test tone. It was benched at DTR (Downtown Radio in DT Denver). Their bench kicks out 13.8v. Bill T.

    Port square surface area...

Will more hinder performance? Going to get a killer deal on 2 JL 10W7s. Was planning to tune to 35Hz. Also planning 60 sq/in of port. Using WINisd, I will keep the port length in check to tune to 35Hz. Will a big surface area hurt the way it sound or how deep it can go? Tuning a little high...

    171 dbs with 3 12" msx's

When people first brinked the 160db mark, a good 40% of the competitors were sealed. Ported made it easier to move up even higher. Loudest 3-12s Ive ever heard were 3 Dub7s powered by 1000/1 each. I believe he cranked out a 153db. bill T.

    XXX.. BX1500D.. LinX.... 145.2db.

The 4.25 is net. Total is somewhere around 5.4 cu/ft. Its a XXX15, dual 2. GHS, you shouldnt have a problem brinking 145s. Our box is tuned at 33Hz. We have plans to redesign the box that will accomodate a port plug, tuned to 50~60Hz. To prove that the score was very real, one of the systems...

    XXX.. BX1500D.. LinX.... 145.2db.

Yesterday, a friend blew 145.2db off my old XXX I sold to him. Its in a 2004 Mazda3, 4.25cu/ft @ 33Hz, powered by a Hifonics BX1500D. There was a small competition at his work, but employees were not allowed to join. Since it was looking like it was going to rain, the company decided to keep...

    Opinions needed: JL10W7s - XXX10s - Eclipse Titanium 10"

The 9510s may be an option. Local car audio shop carries MTX, along with JL. Quick Q: If I build his box, will tuning at 40Hz sound like crap? My XXX was tuned to 33Hz and it dropped looooow. Bill T.

12W6 would eat up too much space. IDmax could be an idea, but noone locally carries them. The 10W7 will play wonderfully at 500wrms. It should be plenty of power. The XXX claims 1600rms. My XXX15 played **** good with 1kw from a 1000/1. If the Hifonics did truely kick out 1500w, that would put...

    port thru rear deck

How we've done it is by: 1. Building a box that will go around the actual sub box. It would only be 5 sided, so the sub box can fit into it. 2. Cut the rear deck and cover. Make a grill cloth cover for the hole. 3. Make a hole about the same size as the hole in the rear deck, in the box. Not...
