what do you suggest then? Is there any way to get at least some of those mids and highs back?

I just bought a new 12 inch sub that hits all the lows amazingly in my car, almost a little too loud actually. But i used to have a 10 inch sub in the before it that sounded really clean and hit the highs and mids really hard and nice. So my question is can there be a happy medium if i wire...
