new 0 gauge on top of factory wiring. i have my alternator bracket grounded to the chassis. sanded everything down. my main battery is in my trunk maybe if i ran a ground from battery negative to the engine it would help?
I put a 300amp autotech engineering alternator in my 2006 Lincoln LS V8. Did the big 3 and an xs power d6500. i’m running less than 1000 watts but i am getting just as bad voltage drop as i did with the stock 140amp alternator. Any ideas as to why?
