So you coated the back of the door panels with fiberglass? Or put fiberglass insulation in the doors? I saw a guy do the insulation thing on here. Thought I might try it.

Staynlean, I will keep working on it and let you know if I find anything substantial. Please do the same. I may take a week or so off of this project. Its making me crazy.

What all did you try? I am thinking of spray on deadener, but I don't know. These hard plastic door panels are terrible. Thought about spraying the back of these with many coats. But, Now I think some of it is in the floor. When listening to people talk (on the radio) it feels like if I was bare...

Like I said, I think I am fighting the acoustics of the truck and not the stereo itself. Door panels are a real hard plastic. Was wondering about a spray on undercoating type of sound deadener on the back of these. Anyone ever do this?

Used second skin deadener on the outer inner and door panels, And those rubber speaker tweaker pads behind the speakers. And 1 layer of CCF on outer door skin.

Just put a lot of money in a system for my 08 GMC Sierra. Good quality components. Sounds terrible. A real hollow, tinny, harsh sound from all the door speakers. Put a lot of sound deadening material on outer skin, inner skin and door panel itself. May have helped a little but not near enough...
