Hmmm may be just my ears but my sa-12 sounded deeper and better after a week or so of playin it

Hmm i had the 12w6v2 and it didnt sound like anything special to me in a ported box......i tried their recomended box built to spec and a 2 cu ft tuned to 31 hz sounded better but still just decent.....swap it out after the surround tore for a RE SE (old ones before the ***) and was wayyy more...

I have a Sa-12 running off a jl 500/1 and it sounds amazing and move tons of air for 1 12 and altho it murders the lows it still play punchy bass notes very well (over 50 hz) had to tame it by crossing @ 55 hz. The old RE SE i had before didnt move as much air and wasnt punchy at all anything...

Oh i sold the sub today wanted to try something new it did get really loud for a single 12 setup with decent sq.

hmmm will the sa - 12 be a big step up from the RE SE Output and sound quality

hmmm i was strongly leaning towards the sa E series 10s as well i like the recommended box specs nice and neat how bout the sa 15? ...but ill have to take up almost my whole trunk for a good box for the 15 ...(small nissan sedan car)

Right now i have a RE SE 12 (model before the ***) On a Jl 500/1 but i wanna try a new sub set up with the same amp.Im looking to spend between 200 - 250 bucks....currently swaying towards either sa-12, RE sex15, RE srx 10s (pair), sa E-series 10s (pair)....heck even maybe a Type r 15 I want...

no wont be competing at all...just wondered if i wud make a big of a difference in sq or loudness by ear....cause the recommended specs for the speaker is 2.0@ 33hz but the current box its in was for the 12w6v2 i had

I have a R.E SE 12 in a 2.0 cu ft box tuned @ 31hz will i notice a big difference by putting it in a 2.0 cu ft box tuned @ 34hz . thanks in advance

I heard both the tuned @ 2.0 cft 31/32 hz on about 1000 watts in the same car and the type rs do get louder...but when it comes to lows and seperation of bass notes SE win my vote hands down...but if you just want a sub to vibrate the hell out of your car and make your nieghbours hate you for...

I too am happy with my single SE i had a 12jlw6v2 and in my opinion this plays way louder and lower probly even more accurate...well in a ported box anyway..Oh yea it does plays deeper after a few days of play.

Just got mine over the weekend and i was blown away at how clean and loud this sub plays its in a 2.0 tuned @ 31 hz box...I had a jl 12w6v2 b4 which the surround tore but the RE is way louder and plays just as deep and clean..or cleaner than the jl...great sub..and i only bought it on sale for...

This sub is amazive in the right box....I never heard it sealed but ported it was surprisingly loud on a cadience 720 watt rms rated and amp and was way louder and cleaner than the mtx 8000 the guy had b4.. its in a 2.0 cuft tune to 32 hz , sounds ok in the recommended ported box..just not as...
