Actually it is working today and I don't know why. I pushed all the RCAs and wires in last night and made sure they were all snug, then tried it and it didn't work. Then woke up today and it works fine... Amp overheating perhaps? Yes the speakers are amped up with an external, not the HU amp.

So I want to get a laptop and one of the Verizon cards for internet access anywhere. This would let stream music while I'm driving. Any idea how I would go about hooking up the sound card to the system? Is it possible?

Probably a stupid question, but is this a standard procedure or can it be done? And what sort of impedance would the amps each have if the subs were DVC 4-ohm or 2-ohm? For example, hook up four 500w mono amps to two subwoofers rated for 1000w. Thank you

Vetkilr, is that amp stable at 1ohm? I don't see anything suggesting it is at the MA Audio site. RMS Power @ 14.4V 50W x 1 @ 4 Ohm 3600W x 1 @ 2 Ohm RMS Power @ 17.0V 75W @ 4 Ohm 4000W @ 2 Ohm

Worst case scenario I will just get a body shop to do a custom job for me if I can't find a way to fit enough ported boxes in there.
