ITD ALIIIIIIVE!!!!!!!! LOL. Ok so i did what u told me to about the buttons on the amp and i re wired the box and the connection from the amp to the subs and tada the subs were bumping. thanks for ur help bro. i really appreciate it.

ok ill give it a try. how can i test the amp for any defects. and remind u i did buy the amp and subs used

cool. i was messing around with the subs again today and metered them again and got around the correct ohm. i don't hear any crackling noises when i push the subs in. so now I'm thinking its the amp or maybe my install. BTW wat does the "q select 4/2" do?

will do. and hopefully i can get my hands on a pc450 next week for my components. do u think i need to upgrade my electrical system to run those two amps. previously i had installed both alpines m500 and f300 running without a problem.

yea i had em bridged. L+ and R-

ok sure enough the speakers are blown lol. i put my meter to em n got weird readings from both of em. now i need to find a repair shop in so cal.

ok i ended up getting the ppi amp but for some reason the subs just aren't hitting like they are suppose to. its really faint and low. i have them in a small pre fab box. ima build another box and see if that fixes it. and the speakers don't seem blown

it says the subs are rated at 100-500 wrms. i think that ppi would be enough for those subs

I will be powering 2 10" 8ohm JL w3v3 subs and not sure which amp to get. ive heard good reviews about both but still indecisive. thanx

I was thinking about getting the kx3, but also want to keep my factory head unit. The kx3 doesn't have any speaker level inputs. Would a loc like the lc6 be my best shot or could I get away wit using a stinger sgn12?

I've heard a few good this about both sets of speakers and decided to choose between the two. Which of the two would you rate the best?
