per sub, which is alot i know, but i am looking for good subs and a good amp to match it. so wat should i look for in the amp? the rms for the mono amp needs to be about 800W RMS 1 ohmX 1 channel correct? wat mono amp would u suggest for a set of DVC 4 ohm subwoofers with around 800W RMS

i'm not sure i havent purchased one yet, i just wasnt sure how the mono amp had two terminals? that kinda confused me. But i guess if they are internally wired in parallel it wont affect the outcome. but i am looking for a pair of subs with an RMS from 800-1000W rms and a solid amp to match it...

so basically if i wire it in parallel to one terminal or two it doesnt change the impedance load. because i want the final load to be 1 ohm on the sub to get the most out of it.

okay i appreciate the help alot, the two terminal thing on a mono amp never made alot of sense to me. yeaah i was planning on getting a pair of pretty strong subs that run at about 1000 RMS, and my car speakers are already in place and what not so i only needed a mono amp. So what mono amp...

so say i want 1000 RMS for each subwoofer (4 ohm DVC) from my mono amp. would i need 1000 RMS at 1 ohm X 1 channel or would i need double that power. I plan on wiring in parallel to maximize the power output so.... and about the 2 terminals on a mono amp, so i just wouldnt use one terminal at all?
