One thing I did notice, is the use of HIGH amp fuses. They need 2x 80amp maxis. Thats the main reason why I went with Cadence A7HC's.

I think its flashed programmed onto a chip. I used to work in computer board manufacturing but I dont remember how we used to do it. If you find anything, please let me know. Know of many inquiring about it.

I own a 2004 Mazda3. The stock HU, when the car starts up, displays "Hello". Is it embedded into the HU or would there be a way to change it?

I got to thinking, how the heck am I going to be able to send a signal to my amps? The Cadence A7hc im getting doesnt accept speaker level inputs (as far as I can see) and besides, I would like to step the voltage going to the amps higher. Onlinecarstereo has a Kicker on a killer deal for $50...

Why such a high damping factor? I havent noticed any that high... unless they say 200+ or so.
