Bump...do any places repair head units? If not, I could probably afford a DVD unit if it were a low-end brand like Jensen or Dual. Are these acceptable at all? I know to stay away from the real low-end brands such as DVD w/ LCD apparently loaded with features being listed for $100 on Amazon or...

Looks okay, but the display is way too small. Anyone know if I should buy a JVC KD-AVX44, or wait for the JVC KD-AVX77? I like the look of the AVX77, I wonder if it'll be any good (or even something I could afford).

Right now I have a Sony CDX-M750 that I bought in 2002. Until recently, it's been great. It looks spectacular with the display folded shut with the full-screen display on the outside, which is the main reason that I bought it. There's photos of it here...
