i was attempting to bring it in to the shop.. but they charge $45 just to diagnois so i said Screw it..ill keep trying myself.. I first tried to disconnect the batteries to reset everything..still nothing. My clock keeps resetting itself..everytime i turn on and off the car. HELP..I HAVE NO HU...

i also realized that everytime i turn my car on and off.. the clock automatically resets to 1:00...

can a HU die.. if the black and or ried wires touch the outside shell of it?..b.c that why i think happened as i was placing it into the dash.. it maybe touched each other.. or the outside shell..

i did i rewired it 5 times.. and still nothing!..is there ne way to check if the head unit is dead.. rather than a fuse?

also my clock... it went extremely dim to the point where i couldnt even read it but after a while i got less dimmer... and restarted itself.

i didnt solder ne wires just twisted them together.. didnt wanna finalize ne thing yet just in case i messed up the connections..i re-wired all the wires but still no power up, and i also checked all the fuses...on the car.. and on the HU but nothing blew.
