The old flatcone K's compared very well to the Shivas. I would think the Kv.2 would compare to the Shiva as well. Ben says the Kv.2 is far superior to the old K so take that for what you will.

What you heard was wrong. SVC subs don't just automatically break after 3 months just because they have 1 vc. If one vc of a dvc sub blows, then the sub is still blown, so it doesn't matter how many coils the sub has. If you like how the way your sub sounds, then keep it. No need to fix...

3.5 is a big box for a Brahma. 2.25-2.75 would do fine. Tuned down low around 28hz that would rock.

i think thats just part of the graphics. mine does it. just turn down the brightness. hold the function button down and go to bright and turn it down.
