now when i have it hooked up series-parralel and i have 1200 watts coming from a mon amp is it going to slit so 600 is going to each sub?

ijust got 2 12" audiobahn subs and they are quad coil, so i have them hooked up series parralel in the box to be at 4 ohms i believe. now should i use a mono block amp withe these subs seeing how i only have one pos. and one neg. running both the subs? any advice and answers appritiated

so i went to go hook up my system in my 1993 plymouth acclaim and i get everything hooked up besides the wires to my speakers from my and and i go to check and see if the amp was getting power and i turn the key and my hc starts blinking and i found out that means that my battery is dead...
