i think im just going to unsolder the connecter off the back of the fp and plug it into the hu and then just run the wires direct from the back of the plug to the back of the fp that way i can take it out if i need to theres a radio shack near me

oops alright sorry let me explain my head unit is in a strange position in my car its like almost vertical and i cant see the faceplate screen unless i lean over while im driving (very dangerous by the way) and i want to move the facepate the headunit will stay in the same spot i just wantto be...

i have a kenwood headunit with a detachable face does anyone know who to relocate faceplates please help
