head unit shuts off with headlights

Well, I guess it all depends on the type of vehicle you plan on runing the HU power from. Whats wrong with the Cigarette lighter??? Its fused with 20A, and its available in over 95% of all vehicles. Now behind the dash, you'll never see the wiring job and plus the ground is already there. In...

head unit shuts off with headlights

The best place and most easiest place to run the headunit from is the Cigarette lighter. Its 12V and all you got to do is make a Y split and your done. Cigarette lighters even come with a Ground so it makes things even easier. AtomicGuY

    pioneer deh-p3500

I personally think the Pioneer DEH-P5500MP is much better than the 6500 because of its ability to play MP3s and WMAs. If you dont use MP3s or WMAs then go for the 6500, its got a cool screen but thats about the only advantage its got over the 5500. I personally like Premier. More outputs in...

    pioneer deh-p3500

Well,, if you want full independent control over your sub then your going to want to get at least the Pioneer DEH-P5500 or Premier DEH-P550. This unit has it all and is still affordable. Unless you've already got some good crossovers. AtomicGuY

Well, I finally solved the problem. This was actually a weird solution. What I did to fix the problem is take the pos to pos on Speaker B and neg to neg on Speaker B... then inverted them so positive goes to negative and negative goes to positive. I now have both subs pounding hard on this...

    2 ohm bridge

Question for the wise.. Isnt running three way out a 2 ohms bridged combo? The Manual states a Tri mode which consists of two 6x9s (one on each channel) and a sub woofer bridged between the two channels. Wouldnt the sub bring the load down to 2 ohms?

    2 ohm bridge

I bet you bagged the AMP didnt you? This is impossible if the amp is only turned up 50% or soo. The only problem that lies here is your eyes will have a hard time hearing between 150watts and 200~250watts... You'll have to really tune it before you get it right. My friend has had his good ole...
