Latest Version of Audison Bit One?

That's kinda the weird part... the site doesn't make mention of it, but if you download the Manual, the cover reads... So it's JUST the Manual that's at "Revision 1.5d" and the Bit One is now revision ".1" or am grasping that wrong? Rev .1 seems low for as many years (4+?) as the Bit One has...

Latest Version of Audison Bit One?

Anybody know what version is currently shipping from the factory? I've read about some issues with older units and I want to make sure I get the latest model. Thx.

    CDT Questions

Hey Barry- I'll be using a Zed Leviathan with each channel powering one speaker - so 190 watts (conservatively) each. I like to play my music loud on occasion but I've respect for my long-term hearing. So you're saying the various CDT drivers I'm considering have the same sound, it just comes...

    CDT Questions

I'm looking to put a three-way, active front stage in a Porsche Boxster. Regarding the CDT ES-06 & ES-04 vs. their ES-6 & ES-4, how would you choose between the two? I'm kinda torn cuz it seems the "zero" series will have more mid-bass, which is important for top-down driving...

Porsche Boxster Build Q1 - Installer Experience?

What comes out of the car I want to keep in good nick so it can go back in someday when/if I sell it. So... I plan on buying new dash speaker grills and hopefully what I have in mind will fit underneath them. I'd rather not buy multiple sets of drivers, go with what fits and then return the rest.

Porsche Boxster Build Q1 - Installer Experience?

I recently acquired a 2003 Porsche Boxster and am in Phase One of customization - AUDIO. The most important phase for obvious reasons, I'm lookin' to do it right and once. I've a series of topics and questions in my head but those will be addressed individually if I can't find relatively...

    Got Wood?

Well you've definitely a brass pair - you'd need binoculars to find me when that switch is thrown.

    Got Wood?

I can see that I guess, but I still have a problem with the return value. An SQ system you can enjoy for hours on end for years on end, and at what I'm guessing is a fraction of the cost. But then I'm not a competitive person by nature. In fact, I'm a downright selfish motherbanger when it...

    Got Wood?

Well, I guess it all hinges on bank. If you've got, blow it. Personally, I'll drop $3-4K on an SQ system beyond which I stash for a house. No one else is looking out for my future, that's for sure.

    Got Wood?

To each their own obviously, and I don't mean to be critical, but I don't get it. That is an a$$ load of $, time and effort into a dedicated car and for what, a sub-second burp? At the highest level, do these contests begin to recoup your investment?

    Running wires

Good point. I was asking myself the same thing about my pending install, thinking maybe run the signal RCAs from the deck down the center of the car. The problem there is a lot more of the car has to come apart. I think I'm going to run power on the DS (driver side) and both RCAs and speakers...

Adire Koda 10" sub & Arc Audio 2050 question?

Yeah, when I asked Adire about feeding my Koda 10 240 watts, their reply was that will be plenty for it's intended SQ role in a sealed single cubic footer. If you lean more toward SPL and SQ, you should have gone with a Brahma, but new they are scarce right now.
