    Its because of efficiency and THD. Lower your impedance meaning lower your efficiency and increase in THD. I never heard of moving cones can charge capacitor? If thats the case than you will have a free moving speaker as nothing to dampened it and what you SQ guys called loose sound.

    I never had any experience with hifonics amp but my guess is you have to match both amps. But strapping both amp to 1 ohm load is dangerous since each amp will be doing 0.5 ohm

    I did a side by side comparison with the Q and the CVX....while its not apple to apple comparison of 15Q and 12cvx, the Q hit the low with more authority and clean but not as clean as the brahma

    I used to run the old 2 15 Q @28hz,30hz and 35hz, with 28 and 30hz they have very good low end extension but lack upper end. With 35hz its has good 35-60hz and loud too. But from what I read, the new Q is an improved version and better than the old ones.
