Oh, OK. I get what your saying. I have always run an optima and had no issues. The size of the alternator isn't the biggest issue with these cars. The real problem is that the alternator only makes power when needed (computer controlled). Most guys run a secondary battery. Hence why I debating...

I guess I don't understand what you mean by, my civic won't power those amps. This whole setup came out of my last civic and I had no issues with it.

That looks pretty sweet. I will have to look into it. That will prob help my issue with the stock system. It just sounds muddy. Thanks.

I want it to sound good. I don't care about how loud it is. I was even debating just swapping in the speakers and amp to get better midrange. The sub could be improved down the road that way also and keep a relatively stock appearance.
