whats goin on all....its opinion time.....im bout to get a new amp to power my 2 type R 10s, and the JL 500/1 is lookin preetty **** good. it is kinda pricy tho, so i wanna make sure its as good as i think it will be ...let me kno if you have one or any experience youve had with one thanks alot

wait a second....PLANET AUDIO ALL THE WAY....every speaker i have running in my car is run off a planet audio amp and to tell the truth, they kick ***...not only is my stuff loud, but it is crystal clear...planet audio amps have very very low thd...bout .04% which is excellent. i doubt cadence...

i kno you could prob get the 600.1 for maybe 200, if not a little less...

alright, 2 subs with dual 4 ohm voice coils...right now ive got them run in series parallel to a 4 ohm load...if my amp was 1 ohm stable, would it be better to run the subs at a 1 ohm load rather than 4? when i say better, i mean louder/better sound

oooops sorry, didnt see tha tyou wanted to power 4 subs...yea all the class ds are bad *** too....dependin on what kind of load your lookin to run them under, the 1250d or the 2250d should be great

im gonna tell you, i am biased toward planet audio. they can do everything that they say they can. they are one of the cleanest amps ive ever heard...thds around .04, which kicks ***. the jl is a good amp, but your going to pay more..i doubt youd be able to tell much difference with a comproble...

alright opinion question....do you think that the alpine mrd-m500 would be powerful enough to push 2 type r 10s good? 500 watts doesnt really seem enough, but alpine has surprised me before...lemme know what you all think

im really not sure. i was wondering too. phoenix gold always has been known for their awesome amps. i kno the q series is lower than the tantrum or titanium, but i would be willing to bet that PG wouldnt put out any garbage. id go for it

lol....umm looks like it should be ok, just make sure you clear off all the rust. the only way to know for sure if its a good ground to try it. but it looks like it should be ok

i wouldnt go with a JL sub...mainly cus im not a JL person. in my opinion, the JL line under the W6s are way over rated. the w6s are decent, the W6v2s are awesome as well as the w7s. granted, those cost you an arm and a leg. if you want a good sub that is going to soound good as well as give you...
