    Amp shuts off

Hi, I need some help or opinions what to do to correct this problem I have. I've got a Kenwood 1000w bridgable amp, hooked it up to the front speakers (Kenwood excelon highs and mids with x-over) and regular Kenwood components in the back as well. I hooked the fronts up to the left channel of...

    Two subs, or one

If I were to purchase two 1000/1 I think a new altenator or a rewinding would be in effect .... capacitors would not solve this problem

    Two subs, or one

I'm using a JL 1000/1 amp and a 12w7. I was wondering if I hook up another w7 and bridge the two subs together. Would the spl increase because of surface area, stay the same because of half of the wattages are going to two separate speakers or even decrease because of a lack of wattage per...

I have the x969 and let me tell you the deck is hella awesome ! I had the mp919 before that and this one pretty much tops it. Adjustable display and keyboard, angles in and out up and down, graphics are top notch as well as the srs wow and the processors in there. Best money I have ever spent...

    Circuit Break

Using a 12w7 and a JL 1000/1 amp , would a 150A circuit breaker have a too high of an amperage on 4awg wiring throughout the whole system and have the possibility to fry my amp? Thanks

    Circuit Breaker help!

I am running a Jl 12w7 and a JL 1000/1, inline from the battery with 4awg wiring through the whole system. I am using a 100A circuit breaker going from my battery to the 1000/1 and it keeps clicking off when I play my music 3/4 to the max volume. I have already dialed in the correct output...

    12JLw7

I'm getting a 12w7 in, I was wondering with it being 3 ohms could I still use my Kenwood KAC-X810D mono 1600/1 ohm, 800/2 ohm, 400/4 ohm amp. The ohms do not match up but if I bridge the amp into 2 ohms, could I be safe using it?
