    Amplifier Settings

I have a Jensen XA2100 amp and a 12" Memphis subwoofer. I am wondering where I should put the LPF and Gain settings on the amp for optimum performance. LPF can go from 50Hz to 250Hz. How exactly do I match up the Gain setting (from Min to Max) to my receiver?

Any Blink-182 song will do, although I recommend "All the Small Things" or "****it."

    Amp for Pioneer TS-W254C?

I checked the specs on the USX2080 and it says "Bridged Mono @ 4 Ohms @ 12.9v input: 280Wx1CH." But does U.S. Acoustics underrate their amplifiers' power? Haha, glad you're here to help with the gain/input settings, I have no idea how to do that. :p I'm using bass boost on the CD player now...

    8" or 10" Sub?

I'm leaning towards the U.S. Acoustics, thanks Jmac. I made a new thread under Amplifiers because that's what it's dealing with now... http://forums.caraudio.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=30907.

    Amp for Pioneer TS-W254C?

I like the price. I take it this particular model (USX2080) will work with the Pioneer sub? If so I may be purchasing this very soon but I want to make sure what I'm getting will work together.

    Amp for Pioneer TS-W254C?

EDIT: I read a couple reviews on the U.S. Acoustics USX2080 and the owners recommend it highly. Anyone know where one can be had at a good price?

    Amp for Pioneer TS-W254C?

I am looking for an amp that will power a single Pioneer 10" TS-W254C subwoofer. My system (proposed) will include factory speakers which sound pretty good, the Pioneer sub, and an amp. Price is important, obviously, the lower the better. I don't need some expensive amp or one that will allow...

    8" or 10" Sub?

Such as? It was recommended by several people and I'm not looking for a really great amp, just one that will power the TS-W254C well enough...

    8" or 10" Sub?

Thanks for all the info! Actually, my friend has a 15" Pioneer subwoofer just like the one that was linked and he likes it and it works well, so maybe that would be a good route to go. Can be bought for $27 on E-bay which seems like a pretty **** good deal to me (auction address...

    8" or 10" Sub?

I have factory speakers ('91 Lumina) and a Sony CD player. I want to add some bass to my car, but not a ton. I listen to punk music mostly so I do not need a 15" sub or something like that. I am looking for an 8" or 10" sub, (8" if you think it will suffice) and an amp. A very important factor...
